I am a REALTOR based out of Bossier City, LA (of which I've been a lifelong resident). I have a strong background in brokerage involving ranch and farm land, multi-family investments, and high value (per square foot) residential and commercial properties.
My family has a history of active community involvement which enabled me to develop strong relationships with the community. My father, Johnny Wyatt, was City Administrator to Bossier Mayor James Cathey. He served as the Bossier City Marshall for two decades, later becoming Homeland Security Director for Northwest Louisiana. His efforts to serve the community persist to this day in the form of the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force (ICACTF), which he was instrumental in implementing.
At age 19, I successfully operated my first company, which eventually culminated into service at four locations. I've since partaken in numerous business ventures that have proven successful. My experience as a proprietor gives me unique insight into the needs of commercial clients.
During my tenure with the Bossier City Fire Department as Captain, my duties required inspections of the majority of commercial buildings, and extensive research of residential neighborhoods. This has proven invaluable in my real estate career. I also had the privilege to participate in Hurricane Katrina rescue, recovery, and logistical planning. Additionally, I've acted as a professional hunting and fishing host for local casino VIPs. These experiences accelerated the growth of the already valuable social network inherited from my family, as well as knowledge of the land, buildings, and residences. During my first five years of being a REALTOR, I closed over 28 million dollars in real estate transactions, and quickly found that to meet the demands of my real estate duties, I would eventually have to retire from the fire department.
